Mohammed S. Al Surf, holder of PhD. in Sustainable and Green Construction, Assistant Professor, LEED Faculty, saaf® PRO and Chairman of Education at Saudi Green Building Forum. Member of several local and international professional entities such as Saudi Green Building Council (SGBC), the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE), the Pacific Rim Real-Estate Society (PRRES), Asian Real-Estate Society (AsRES) and Project Management Institute (PMI). A life long instigator for systematic approach to Green Construction and Sustainability methods that are applied on projects in Saudi Arabia to induces "quality of life" while preserving the depleting natural resources.
Academic: Ph.D. in Sustainable Construction from Queensland University of Technology, Australia, Property and Planning department, Science and Engineering Faculty, in 2014, entitled “Challenges Facing the Application of Sustainability to Housing in Saudi Arabia”. Al Surf received his master degree in Project Management Queensland University of Technology, Australia, in 2010, after his bachelor’s degree in Architecture from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, in 2007.
